Animal Farm by George Orwell

Pigs with power. This was also one of my last year summer reads. I think that this book is one of the classics that everybody should read. In my opinion it is a masterpiece. This book of just over 90 pages, delivers a point that would normally need a 300 page explanation. There is another reason why I think it is brilliant. It was first published in 1945 and if you read it today, it will still be a great satire of our ways of life.

I recommend this book to everybody that has not jet read it, because it really is a must ( and it really is a tiny, tiny book :) ). In life it is important, not to be like the pigs, but one must bare in mind not to become the horse in this capitalistic present, when people are getting sick, because of too much work or because experiencing too muc presure. It is important to stop and think of yourself. Don't become the horse (or as you will see while reading, don't become the sheep or a pig either :) ).

I give it a 5/5.

p.s.I will be posting a list of classics, I warmly recommend to read, in the future and this book will surely be included.
